30 Day Anime Challenge {Day #9 Saddest Anime Scene}~!

Hey Guys~!

Are you all ready to cry, or do you have no soul and never express any emotion~? Anyways today I will be sharing the saddest anime scene. Now if you know me and my taste in anime, it really does vary, however, rarely do I actually cry or get really sad at a scene. There are some exceptions to this, and I will be sharing one with you. So let's start~~!

Okay, this might count more an saddest episode rather than saddest scene, but whatever, this is my blog, and I do whatever I want. Also this is super spoiler filled for the anime Rozen Maiden, so read at your own risk.

The saddest scene comes from Rozen Maiden's second season and it is Hina Ichigo's Death.

Hina Ichigo is a doll who is slowly losing her life. Everyone is trying to make her as happy as possible in her last moments, and in the end is with her friend, Tomoe.

I wasn't a huge fan of Hina, but this scene literally killed me~! Seeing Hina grow up right before our eyes, and then having her life ripped away is shocking. She served as the innocence of the anime, being the youngest of the dolls, and was able to lighten up some of the darker moments. However, the moments where you hear the gears in her body slow down or stop, really made me anxious. Her death was built up to throughout the episode, and even though I knew her death was inevitable, it still made me want to cry.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post~! Share which anime scene you think are the saddest in the comments below, I'll try my best to comfort you guys. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

Fire Fairy Nail Art~!

Hey Guys~!

It's summer, so I wanted to do a really unique nail art tutorial that's great for any summer colors. Today I'll be doing this abstract Fire Fairy nail art, which will be my first tutorial, I think, with rhinestones~!! Of course you don't have to, but I really like how it looks. So let's start~~!

For This You Will Need . . .
Base Coat
Coral or Orange Nail Polish
Nude Nail Polish
Gold Nail Polish
Clear Nail Polish
Rhinestones
Dotting Tool

First apply your base coat, to protect your natural nails. With your coral or orange nail polish, create a gradient on some of your nails, I did it on my thumb, middle, and pinky fingers.

Next is the dots. With your gold polish, create a dotted arch on the nails with the gradient. You can do however many or whatever size you like. This is what I did.

On your other nails, apply a nude polish. Then do an arch of coral/orange dots. On the top and bottom of the coral arch, do a gold arch of dots.

On one of your gradient nails we'll be applying a rhinestone. First take your dotting tool and dip it in clear nail polish. Make a dot at the base of your nail. Then use the dotting tool to pick up the rhinestone and place it on the dot. This might take some practice, but once you get the hang of it, it's super easy.

Lastly apply a clear polish over all your nails to seal in your design and give it a nice shine~! Now we are finished~!!

I hope you guys enjoyed this nail art tutorial~! If you would like another abstract fairy/fantasy themed nail art, let me know in the comments what element and/or the creature that will inspire the next look. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

Empties/Products I've Run Out Of~!

Hey Guys~!

I haven't done one of these in forever, mainly because I've been trying so many new products that I haven't used up anything. Have you ever used a certain product or products every single day and then suddenly run out of them when you need them? Well that happened to me, so expect a haul sometime soon. Today I'll be sharing some of my empties, mostly makeup and some skin care, with you guys. So let's start~~!

We'll start with face makeup, and the only thing I have is the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer and I'm in the shade #15. I mentioned this in my Top Products Under $10 post, so check that out if you haven't yet. This is my favorite drugstore concealer, and I already bought a new one because I use this everyday.

Next is a cheek product, which I've mentioned before, and it is the NYX Cream Blush in Boho Chic. It may not look empty, but there is such a thin layer of blush in the pan that it's practically empty. I absolutely love this color, is very natural and blends nicely, so I do want to try some of the other shades too.

I have two eye products to share, and the first is the Elf Eyeshadow Primer in the color Sheer. I use this everyday, with any eyeshadow look. It prevents creasing of the shadows as well as evening out the color of my lids. I have been using this since I began wearing eye makeup, and it is the only primer I've ever used. It's only a dollar, so I don't mind repurchasing it.

The other eye product is my Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Wiz in the color Soft Brown. I have probably owned this for a year and it is finally gone. I love this pencil, it's creamy and there is a large color selection, making it easy to find your perfect shade. Also I love the spooly brush at the end to comb out my brows.

Lastly for makeup, I have two lip products. It shouldn't come as a surprise that I've used one of these up, since I love them, Maybelline Baby Lips in Peppermint. I love using this as a base before any lip look, and I like the mint scent. Also it has SPF, so it will protect your lips, they need sun protection too.

My other lip product is something I've used in loads of tutorials and it has been in multiple favorites, it even has its own review. Did you guess what it is? The MUA Lip Stain in Rose~! I have been in love with this, and worn it almost everyday. The color really extenuates my natural lip color, and I love how long it lasts.

I only have one skin care item, and it is one of my favorite makeup wipes, Yesto Cucumbers. I got a 40 pack and I go through makeup wipes insanely quickly. Of course I use them to remove my makeup, but some mornings if I don't have time to wash my face I use these. They don't irritate my skin, which is great, and I always repurchase these.

I hope you guys enjoyed this empties post. I know I haven't done one of these in a while, but if you would like them more often, maybe once every three or four months, let me know in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

30 Day Anime Challenge {Day #8 Most Epic Scene}~!

Hey Guys~!

Today is Day #8 of our challenge, and I'm sharing what I think is the most epic scene. Now for this the factors that went into choosing which scene to put here were awe factor, animation, and/or shock value. Without further adieu, here's what I think is the most epic anime scene. So let's start~~!

Okay, the most epic anime scene, the one with the best animation and the greatest awe factor is . . . When Natsume gets out of the shower in the anime Brother's Conflict, without a shirt on~!

I mean look at those abs. He's so dreamy. Also who doesn't love guys that are in love with their step-sisters~?! Seriously the animators deserve thousands of awards for this scene alone, and just based on this scene, this anime should get another season~!

Just kidding you guys~!!

Anyway the most epic anime scene, in my opinion, is the fairs wheel scene in Terror in Resonance. I did talk a little bit about this scene in my Day #7 post, top anime couples, so {click here if you haven't read that yet.} I couldn't link the scene with the voices, since it is copy written on YouTube, but if you want to see the actual scene, watch the anime.

Even re-watching it gives me the same chills I felt when watching this for the first time. Lisa, was kidnapped and used as bait to trap Twelve. He's trying to diffuse the bomb strapped onto her, and she's begging him to escape, all while riding a ferris wheel.

The entire scene just makes my heart ache. They really do care about each other, but this moment really tests them. When Lisa gives up and starts crying, it's hard not to cry too. You can see the pain in Twelve's eyes and the stakes of the scene really add to this scene.

The animation is beautiful. The scenery while they look out as well as the scenes that show the entire ferris wheel honestly took my breath away.

I hope you guys enjoyed today's edition of the 30 Day Anime Challenge~! Share what you think is the most epic anime scene in the comments below, I love hearing your opinions. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

Favorite Products for Under $10~!

Hey Guys~!

I really like finding an inexpensive makeup, skin care, or hair care products that are as good, if not better, then my more expensive products. Today I will be sharing some of those favorites with you guys, all of which cost under $10. So let's start~~!

We'll start with makeup, and my first product is this powder from Coty which is called Airspun Powder. I haven't talked about this before, I think, but it deserves so much praise. It looks like an average loose powder, but the finish it gives my skin is amazing. In photography, which is what I normally use it for, it looks like really skin and not like I have makeup on. Recently I've been wearing this as my everyday setting powder, and it works amazingly.

Next I have a lip product from NYX, which is one of my favorite brands, and it is the Soft Matte Lip Cream in the color Antwerp. It is a natural red toned coral color, and it is similar to my natural lip color. It's great for everyday, and it lasts pretty well on my lips. Usually I don't like matte finishes, but the formula is great.

Another face product is this concealer from Maybelline. This is the Fit Me concealer, and it is probably the best drugstore concealer I've tried. There is a huge shade selection and the formula is really nice, allowing it to last a really long time. I've repurchased this, and it works as well as some of my more expensive concealers.

Lastly for makeup I am going to mention the Milani Bella Eyes eyeshadows on this list, but I've already done extensive reviews on the shades I own, so {click here} or {click here} to read about how much I love them and for swatches.

The skin care product I'll be sharing is one of my favorite products that I have been using since middle school to clear my skin and that is the Neutrogena Rapid Clear Treatment Pads. It contains 2% Salicylic Acid, which treats acne, and there are sixty in a pack, which is a lot. I use these at night, after washing my face, and the next morning the redness and the size of my acne is reduced.

For my hair, I don't use many products, but my favorite for styling my hair is the Not Your Mother's Kinky Moves Curl Cream. This stuff smells super fruity and sweet. I put this in my damp hair and scrunch it up to create texture. It's super easy and it always leaves my hair looking nice.

I hope you guys enjoyed hearing about some of my favorite products that cost under $10. If you have some products that you love, share them in the comments, I'd love to try them out. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

30 Day Anime Challenge {Day #7 Favorite Anime Couple}~!

Hey Guys~!

This is the day I pour my fangirl feels all over my blog. Today I'll be sharing my favorite anime couple. I have millions upon millions of favorite anime couples, also known as OTPs. I had a really hard time trying to choose one, so I chose three of my OTPs, some are ties so I actually have five couples listed . . . They are in no particular order, I love them all equally as much. So let's start~~!

1.) Fakir x Ahiru and Mytho x Rue from Princess Tutu

Okay, I know these are two separate pairings, but they're from the same anime, and I like equally as much. Fakir and Ahiru become adversaries in their quest to protect Mytho, but their plans are different. Fakir wants to keep him sheltered and Ahiru wants to restore his heart. Throughout the anime, they learn to work together and soon fall in love. Their relationship doesn't build up too quickly, and it works amazingly. They will break your heart, but in a good way.

Mytho and Rue were childhood friends. Rue was told she would end up with Mytho, and grew up wanting to be perfect for him. This caused her to believe she had to do everything to keep Mytho only looking at her. As Mytho's heart is being restored, Rue becomes insecure and takes different means to keep Mytho at her side. Through multiple events, I don't want to spoil the ending, they end up together. Honestly I only like this relationship for Rue, cause Mytho doesn't really have a personality.

2.) Twelve x Lisa from Terror in Resonance/Zankyo no Teroru

These two just break my heart, and some people may say they aren't a couple, bu they are to me~! Twelve is part of a terror group called Sphinx. During one of his missions, he meets this girl, Lisa. He offers for her to join them, or he would let her die. She chooses to join them, and as the anime progresses you can see Twelve struggle between his devotion to Sphinx or his feelings for Lisa. The scene where Lisa is trapped in the ferris wheel with a bomb on it, is the scene that really made me love these two together. That scene really tests Twelve and Lisa's relationship, and I was fully invested in seeing the path their relationship took.

3.) Gajeel x Levy and Gray x Juvia from Fairy Tail

Another tie~! Okay I'll start with Gajeel and Levy. Gajeel was assigned by his guild, Phantom Lord, to destroy Fairy Tail, and in doing so injures Levy. Levy was seen as one of the weaker guild members, but at the same time everyone liked her. After the guilds battle, Gajeel joins Fairy Tail. Levy's friends decide to fight him, and he takes every hit without fighting back. Later on, he offers to help train Levy to win a higher ranking in the guild, and their relationship sky rockets from there. The two go through multiple battles where they fight to protect the other. SPOILERS~! They kiss in the manga <3 My fangirl heart died when I saw this page.

Onto my other favorite couple, Gray x Juvia. Juvia was also part of Phantom Lord and was sent to kidnap Lucy. Gray ends up in a fight with Juvia, and she instantly falls in love with him. Seeing how determined he is to save Lucy, Juvia gets jealous In order to keep Gray, she too joins Fairy Tail. These two have more development in the manga, especially the current arc, so I don't want to spoil it too much.  I can say that Gray has done multiple things to protect Juvia, and they have spent a lot of time together.

I hope you guys enjoyed this~! Share some of your favorite anime couples in the comments below, just don't bash each other's favorites. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

Products I Regret Buying~!

Hey Guys~!

This has been a post I've wanted to write ever since I made a blog. Today I'll be showing you guys some of the makeup products that I regret buying. Let me say that some of the products I share might be your favorites and work great for you, but they just don't work for me. So let's start~~!

The first product I'll be sharing with you is this Covergirl Clean Sensitive Skin Foundation. Let me reiterate, this is the sensitive skin formula . . . it broke me out~!! Even now as I put this on the top of my hand, my skin will get super red and irritated. I don't think they even make this foundation anymore or they reformulated it, either way I would steer clear of this.

My next product is the Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Medium Mauve. I have already written a review on this product, {click here to read it.} I'll summarize it by saying this product has no pigmentation at all. I was super disappointed because I love the Maybelline products and this one is crap.

Here I have an eye shadow palette from the company Profusion, which I can't stand. I saw this for $3 and I wasn't expecting anything amazing, but the colors are really interested me. The shadows are super chalky and do not blend well. Maybe I need to try them with a different primer, but for now I despise them.

I think I've also talked about this product in another review, but anyway this is the Benefit High Beam highlighter. I reviewed this with the Benefit kit it came in, {click here to read it.} Whenever I wear this, it is super glittery and looks really unnatural. I have tried multiple techniques for putting this on, and it always looks like I rubbed glitter on my face.

My next product is the Elf Shimmer Eyeliner Pencil in the color white. I bought this for my waterline, hoping it would allow me to achieve whiter, more animated, looking eyes. However, this liner has no pigmentation in the water line and does not stay. Maybe some of the other shades are nicer, but this white one is horrendous.

Another Maybelline product that doesn't work for me is the Define-A-Brow brow pencil in medium brown. I use to use this for my everyday brows as well as for my cosplay makeup. Maybe mine dried out, but whenever I use it, even with a light hand, it breaks. It's a fight of the century to fill in my eyebrows with this and also the comb on the back is useless.

I have also written a review on this product, and it is the Revlon Colorstay foundation, {click here to read the review.} I really don't understand the hype with this one. I have it in the combination to oily formula, and it refuses to stay on my skin. It promises to be long wearing, and it breaks down on me even with a primer.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post~! If you would like to see another Products I Regret Buying post, let me know in the comments. Also share some of your products that you regret so we all can avoid the bad makeup. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

30 Day Anime Challenge {Day #6 Most Annoying Anime Character}~!

Hey Guys~!

This post in my 30 Day Anime Challenge will be a bit of a rant. I'll be talking about one of my favorite anime, and I'll be talking about an important character. It's alright if you disagree with my opinion, everyone has their own opinion. So let's start~~!

Okay, I really like the anime Tokyo Ghoul. It's about creatures called ghouls, that are humanoid but they eat humans, that live in Tokyo, that are being hunted down. I love everything about this anime, except for one thing, and that is Kaneki Ken.

Kaneki Ken gets turned into a half ghoul after a date gone wrong. I understand that something like this is traumatizing. If I woke up and I was going insane because I wanted to ear human flesh, yeah I would cry a lot. But I would eventually adapt and get over it.

Kaneki doesn't do this till the last episode of the first season . . .  It takes him twelve episodes to grow a pair and become a ghoul.

Every scene that involved Kaneki being scared, or jumpy, besides the moments in the first episode, made me so annoyed. It's like, dude, get over yourself. You have other ghouls that are helping you and protecting you, the least you could do is learn to fight and help them. Yeah he works at the cafe, but he's incapable of fighting till the last episode.

And it's not like it was built up, like he trained, he literally just has a realization, and in the last three minutes of the anime, he kills a guy.

I felt like I was being played the entire anime. I just wanted some cool action scenes and character development, which I got to see with basically every other character, even the characters that died. And yet Kaneki, our main character, takes forever to develop the same amount as the other characters.

I do still love this anime, I am watching the second season currently, and I heard a third season will be coming out soon. I just need Kaneki to either become a more interesting character, or for the anime to focus on someone else.

I hope you guys enjoyed Day #6~! Share who you think is the most annoying anime character in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

Confetti Nail Art Tutorial~!

Hey Guys~!

I wanted to do a really fun and colorful nail art design, and I came up with this. Today I'll be showing you guys how to create what I am calling, Confetti Nails. It is super easy and requires no professional nail art tools. I did a pastel color scheme, but I think there are millions of color options that would look good too. So let's start~~!

For this you will need . . .

A Clear Nail Polish / Base Coat
Any Nail Polishes You Like
A Pencil

First apply your base coat and let it dry. This will protect your nails from staining. Then apply 2 - 3 coats of your base color. I am using a pale blue from Essie called Bikini So Teeny. Wait for it to dry it between coats, and make sure it's dry before continuing.

Choose some other colors for the 'confetti'. I went with a coral from Etude House, a pastel purple from OPI, You're Such a Budapest, and a pastel green from OPI, Gargantuan Green Grape. I dipped the pencil in the polish and made dots and swirls all over the nail. I started with the coral, then the purple, and lastly the green.

To blend everything, do the same technique with the base color. Wait for this all to dry, it will take a while.

Once it's dry, apply a clear top coat to add a shine and help the design last longer.

And now we are finished~!!

I hope you guys enjoyed this nail art tutorial. If you try it out, or you have suggestions for future nail art tutorials, let me know in the comments below, and share your pictures with me on my social media. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.
