Personal Post {Rant on the Rozen Maiden English Dub Cast}~!

Hey Guys~!

I know you all probably wanted a beauty post or something of the sorts. But it's my blog and some days I just want to rant about something that's not makeup or fashion. Today I just wanted to write about the recent cast announcement for one of my favorite anime, Rozen Maiden.

I LOVE this anime. It's visually beautiful and I love all of the characters. I have seen the subbed and dubbed versions of all the episodes, and have grown to love both casts. To me all the voices work perfectly with each of the characters.

...But someone decided to change that...

On Crunchyroll I saw the new cast for Rozen Maiden Zurückspulen (2013). I am NOT happy. All of the actors have been changed, and many of the new ones have barely done anything (I've already looked all of them up.)

The only one that I'd heard of is Luci Christain, who I do love. She's played a lot of my favorite characters, Ahiru/Princes Tutu from Princess Tutu, Honey from Ouran High School Host Club, Hungary from Hetalia, Alois Trancy from Black Butler and many more. However I really just don't see how her voice, that mostly plays a lot of cutesy characters (excluding Medusa from Soul Eater and Alois from Black Butler.) Shinku doesn't fit into either of those extremes of being really cute or being crazy. I don't doubt Luci, I'm just hoping changing everything around will benefit the show.

I want another season so badly, so I do hope it does well. And I'm sorry about this rant post, unless if you guys like them and maybe want more...I really just needed to get this out of my head so I could write other posts. However if you did like this, let me know in the comments and maybe I can do one of these either once a week or once every two weeks. Please let me know if you're interested. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

Sleek Blush {Rose Gold} Review~!

Hey Guys~!

I decided to start reviewing the Sleek products I'd shown in my Korean and English cosmetic haul, {click here} to check it out. First I'll be reviewing the single blush I bought which is in the color, Rose Gold. And much like everyone else, I love anything rose gold, so obviously I needed to have this color even on my cheeks. So let's start~~!

I really do enjoy the simplicity and how classic Sleek's packaging is. It's a matte black compact, which I think looks really nice. The writing on it has a shiny finish and is also black. Because of the different finishes, the writing is still legible and the two together create a very elegant effect. Also I like that the compact has a decent sized mirror. It makes it really easy to see what I'm doing that way.

On Sleek's website, there are eleven different blushes available. All of them range in color and finish, which is great since variety is always important to me. I read more about the blushes and I was happy to find out that Sleek doesn't test on animals. One little problem I had was with the sizing. Based on the picture online, I thought it be pretty decent sized. However it is kind of small, around the same size of an average eyeshadow palette from the drugstore.

Like I said before, the blush I got is in the color #926 Rose Gold. It's a rosy pink color with a lot of flecks of gold. Here's a swatch of it . . .

As the name implies, it's a rosy pink color. When you look at the swatch, the flecks of gold now created a gold sheen. This creates a glowing skin affect that is often achieved by highlight, but this blush does that for you. Also it makes your face look more alive.

It is super pigmented and I love the texture of this blush. It's nice and creamy, and doesn't really feel like a powder blush. On this skin if feels very light and lasts all day without any fading.

These single blushes cost around $7 on the Sleek website. I thought that was quite reasonable, since many of the blushes that I like have cost me way more than that. I do think this blush is totally worth the price, however like I said before it was a little smaller than I expected it to be.

Pigmentation: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Texture: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

This is one of my favorite blushes now. I am quite particular about face makeup, and I think this is great. If you've never tried Sleek before like me, I think the blushes are a great place to start. For what you're paying, you're getting a nice, high quality, product.

I hope you guys enjoyed this review. If you have something you want me to review, let me know in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

M.U.A. Lip Stain {Rose} Review~!

Hey Guys~!

Recently CVS began selling makeup from the company M.U.A., which stands for Makeup Academy. I believe this originally is a British brand, and I was excited to see it come to the U.S. Sadly there isn't a lot offered in CVS, mostly lip products and brushes. Because I hate buying brushes from a new brand, without any idea how good they are, I decided to get a lip product. They had a lot to choose from, but I decided on a lip stain. I've been trying it out for a few weeks and now it's time to review. So let's start~~!

The packaging is quite simple, a black lip gloss tube. There's a clear section where you can see the color of the gloss, which I appreciate because I like knowing what I'm buying. The gloss has a doe foot applicator, which I love for glosses since it makes application much easier and even.

At my CVS they had about six or seven shades to choose from, and there was a nice range. The one I chose was in the color Rose. It's a natural dusty rose or mauve color, which looks really nice with my lip color and skin tone.

Here's a swatch of it. . .

It looks really sheer, but on the lips it's super pretty. On my lips this product gives them a natural rose tint that looks like a berry color. I think that makes this great for fall or if you don't like experimenting with dark colors. I have pale skin, and this stain does contrast a bit, but it still looks really nice.

The staying power is alright. It doesn't totally fade on me, even after I eat, and it sets pretty quickly onto my lips. If I want it to stay as pigmented as it does when I first applied it, I do have to reapply it sometimes.

My main problem with this product is the price. This cost me $8 which is a little pricey for a drugstore lip product. I know that some cost more than this, but I'd seen it online on the MUA website advertised much cheaper. CVS did recently send out some MUA coupons, but it would have only taken off $2 and I haven't seen this brand on sale yet. I'd think that if a store got a new brand, they'd come up with a deal or something to make the customers want to buy it, but clearly that wasn't thought of.

Packaging: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Color Selection: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Pigmentation: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Staying Power: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Price: ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥
Overall: ♥ ♥ ♥

I really have been loving this lip color for the fall time. It's a really nice color, it applies nicely, and looks great fit any makeup look I wear. I do wish it was a little cheaper, so if you can get this on Amazon or the MUA website for cheaper, get it. I do want to try some of the other colors, but I'll wait till they're on sale.

I hope you guys enjoyed this review. If you have any questions or have a request for a future review, let me know in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

Forever21 + Etc. Back to School Clothing Haul~!

Hey Guys~!

Sorry for the lack of posts recently. My computer broke and I just started school. I'm trying my best to manage my time with school, blogging, and work. But I promise I'll get better at it °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖° Anyway I thought that today I'd share with you the clothes that I bought for school. It's mostly from Forever21, which is one of my favorite stores, but I did get a few other things from random other stores. So let's start~~!

I'll start with the stuff I got at Forever21. When I bought everything, they had a deal that if you spent $50 or more, you would get $10 back in store credit for a future purchase. I'm not sure if that's still available, but if it is you should definitely get some stuff if you like their clothes.

The first thing I bought were some high-waisted jeans. I had wanted a pair like these for a while now, but everywhere I looked they either were too expensive or they didn't look right on me. Thankfully I just have to hem these, since my legs are really short and there aren't different lengths offered. But besides that they look and fit really nicely.

Next thing I got is this skirt. It is a circle skirt, which looks really flattering on so many body types. This one is totally my style, since I'm a floral addict. The roses are different shades of dusty pink or mauve and I really like that the pattern has a bit of a vintage feel.

To wear with that skirt, I just got a pale pink camisole that matches the colors in the flowers. It has a slight v neckline, but it's not super low or anything. Also I'm happy to say that these are see thtough, you guys have no idea how many see through ones I have and how much I hate them.

In the fall / winter I like wearing comfy shirts with leggings and boots. Even though I'm not a huge fan of tribal print, I really like this shirt. The color scheme has a lot of warm tones, which I thought would be great for fall. It's super soft and feels light weight too.

Lastly from Forever21 I got this cardigan. I absolutely love wearing cardigans, and prefer them to be a bit over-sized. This one is perfect for fall and winter. It's a light cream color with black detailing. I think that this would look great with a lot of things and that it could be either dressed up or down.

These two things I got were from Betsy Johnson, and I love her designs. Both of what I got were impulse buys, but I know I will end up wearing them a ton.

The first is this cream and black colored wallet. It's so cute~! I love the stripes, the studs, and the scalloped detailing. The inside has a lot of pockets for cards, cash, and coins, which I also really like. It's a nice sized wallet, but it's small enough to fit into a majority of my purses.

The other thing I got is the matching purse. I know, I really need to stop shopping~!?!?! This bag has the same color scheme and detailing as the wallet. I really like that it has a cross body strap and smaller ones, so I can wear the bag however I like.

So that's everything I bought for my Back to School season. If you want a look book or a review on anything I bought, let me know in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

TonyMoly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar {#05 and #06} Review~!

Hey Guys~!

In my Korean and English cosmetics haul, {click here} if you haven't seen it yet, I showed these TonyMoly Bunny Gloss Bars. Before purchasing them, I'd heard tones of great things and read a ton of reviews on them, all with positive opinions. Even so I still thought it would be good to get my own review out, just cause I really wanted to. So let's start~~!

Like everyone else, I absolutely adore the packaging. It's super cute. Each shade has a different face on it, which I thought was a unique detail used. Also they're really small, which makes it great for traveling. They're about the same size or smaller than a normal pencil, so it's something I can keep in my pencil case at school and not have it take up a ton of space. Also I don't know if I just have a faulty one, but mine sometimes doesn't twist down. I have to push it down as I twist it, and cause of that it, the product has broken a few times.

On the TonyMoly website, I saw six different shades offered. But there are three other shades that I couldn't find on their website that I did see on Amazon. The two I ordered were shades #05, Juicy Peach, and #06, Juicy Orange.

http://i1357.photobucket.com/albums/q753/zoecom1/tonymolyPetiteBunnyGlossBarct08_zps00898908.jpg

Here are swatches of both of them. Juicy Peach is a sheer natural color. Juicy Orange is a sheer orange tint.

These are supposed to be the combination between a lip stick, lip balm, and lip gloss, which to me sounded pretty exciting. Having a mix of those three products makes traveling with makeup easier, since you won't have to take as many things with you to have all those purposes.

I do think these live up to that idea, however I wish they were just a little more pigmented. The peach one barely shows up on my lips, which is a shame cause the swatch is beautiful.

I loved how inexpensive these were. On Amazon they were around $1 and since I have Amazon Prime I didn't have to pay shipping. So for the two of them I paid $2, which is really great since I really like them.

I do see why everyone really likes these. They are moisturizing, have a sheer pigmentation, and create a beautiful shine, putting three products into one. However I have had issues with the technicality of the packaging, it getting jammed, and I do with it was slightly more pigmented. If you are looking for a lip product that can be worn everyday, this is great to try.

I hope you guys enjoyed this review. If you liked it, and have a suggestion for what I should review next, let me know in the comments below. Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.

August Favorites 2014~!

Hey Guys~!

It's the end of August, meaning I start school soon ;_; Even though I'm not looking forward to it, I thought I'd try and enjoy my last few days of summer by writing a favorites post. That may not sound like the most exciting way to spend a summer day, but it's raining now so I can't do really anything. So let's start~~!

Makeup

This month I don't really have many makeup favorites, I only have three. The first one is the Milani Bella Eyes Eyshadow in the color #16 Bella Champagne. I did recently post a review on it, so {click here} to check it out. It's a really pretty rose gold color, which looks great on its own or in a complete eye look.

The second makeup favorite I have is the Anastasia Brow Wiz and I'm in the color Soft Brown. I'd heard a lot of great things about this on YouTube, so I thought I'd give it a try. It has a spoolie on the end to brush out my brows and the pencil is really nice and applies smoothly.

Lastly I have a lip product, and it's something that I showed in my Korean Cosmetics Haul, {click here} to check it out, and it's the Etude House Fresh Cherry Lip Tint in Cherry Lavender. It looks kind of intimidating, but it's not that purpley on your lips. On me it makes kind of a berry or purple toned pink, and I love it~~!

Perfume
Well it's more like a body spray and not a perfume, but what sounds better perfume or body spray?? Anyway I've been in love with the Bath and Body Works spray in the scent Paris Amour. According to their website, this scent contains three layers of fragrances. The first has Sparkling Mandarin, Petite Strawberry, Sparkling Pink Champagne, and Apple Blossoms. The second has Luscious Peach, Jasmine Petals, French Tulips, and Water Lily. The last one has French Vanilla, Coconut Milk, Amber Wood, Sandalwood, and Creamy Musk. All of these blend together to create a beautiful scent that if you can, you should give it a sniff.

Skin Care
I haven't had any really bad breakouts, but I've gotten one or two bad pimples here and there. This month I found a great spot treatment that I'm now in love with. It's the CVS brand Acne Spot Treatment. If you can't get this, the one from Clean and Clear is exactly the same. I'll put this on my blemishes after washing my face at night and when I wake up, they are smaller or gone.

Anime / Manga

Towards the end of the month I started an anime called Terror in Resonance. I know that this just started recently, but it's amazing. The animation and soundtrack are absolutely beautiful. It's about an alternate version of present day Tokyo, which is being attacked by a terrorist group called Sphinx. The members are two teenage boys, named Nine and Twelve, who now want to take revenge on the world that has tormented them. It's unlike any anime I've ever watched and have instantly been drawn to it. If you haven't started this anime you need to~!!

I did also start a manga this month and it's Fairy Tail. I did try watching the anime, but I hate watching long shows, so I thought I'd read the manga instead. I love it~! <3 I'm all caught up and just read the newest chapter, which had my favorite couple in it kissing~!!!! (I'm such an awkward fangirl -.-")

Movies

Guardians of the Galaxy was AMAZING~!?!?! If you haven't seen this movie yet, go see it now! It's a superhero movie, but it balances the action and the comedy really well. I loved all the characters, especially Groot.

So those were my favorites for the month of August. I'd really appreciate it if you told me some of your favorites from this past month in the comments below. I hope you all had an awesome summer~! Thank you guys so much for reading and I'll see you at my next post.
